5 Mindset Shifts That Changed my Life For The Better!
I used to think success was simply about planning well and working hard—waking up every single day and doing the “right” things in the “right” order. And while that is part of it, the real game-changer for me was what happened in my mind—especially after life threw curveballs at me.
I want to share a few mindset shifts that helped me start moving forward again, even when everything looked and felt uncertain.
1. Done is Better Than Perfect.
I used to get stuck trying to make everything perfect. Now? I just start—even if I don’t get as much done as I wanted to. Progress, however small, is truly better than perfection.
2. I Don’t Have to Know How It’s Going to Turn Out.
Waiting to feel “ready” held me back for so long. But confidence doesn’t come before action—it comes through it. Most of the time, you figure things out as you go.
3. Slow is Still Movement.
Not everything has to happen fast. Tiny, consistent steps still count. You’d be amazed by how far you can get just by doing a few faithful things every day.
4. I Can Learn as I Go.
I don’t need all the answers up front. I’ve learned to trust myself to figure things out along the way— and somehow, I always do. You can too!
5. How I Speak to Myself Matters.
I was once so hard on myself for all my "failures" and "shortcomings". But I learned a while ago to speak to myself with respect and kindness. If no one else is around to speak life over your dreams, do it yourself.
Say it out loud: “ I’m resilient.”
“I’m intelligent.”
“I’m beautiful.”
“There’s nothing I can’t overcome.”
Some wise man once said, "whether you believe you can or you believe you can't , you're right either way. " Your beliefs about yourself are insanely powerful!
